Answers to common photo-restoration questions.
Can every photograph be fully restored?
Results depend on the condition and resolution of the original. Missing or heavily damaged areas may require interpretation.
Are colourized photographs historically exact?
Colours are interpretations unless supported by reliable references. Details you remember can help make the result more accurate.
What should I provide for a print?
Include the desired print size. For example, a 5 × 7 inch image at 300 pixels per inch is 1500 × 2100 pixels.
Should I keep the original?
Yes. Keep the original photograph and an unedited digital copy, even after a restored version is created.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is $25 CDN flat rate. Our turnaround should not be more than 3 days but there is always any number of things which can slow it down. We do work on a FIFO method so no way your project will get bumped down the list.
